Why I Was A C-Player Most Of My Life
Why is it that when we NEED to be an A-Player, we’re not?
Simple, our brain’s survivalist put’s our insecurities, doubts and frustrations on recycle, it pulses this fucking brain noise and we either do one of two things:
- Show up weak with no confidence… or
- Not show up at all.
It changes the way our brain functions, scientists call the cortical inhibition, I prefer to call it the cognitive switch.
It’s unconsciously set to whatever emotional context the situation requires like frustration, fear, or worrying or about what other people think… you get the idea.
Essentially we’re building these insecurities and failure traits BIGGER!
How do we switch the survivalist off?
