Three Levels Of Testosterone

I’ve been through all 3-levels of testosterone. Low testosterone and estrogen dominance, to average, and finally to optimal levels of testosterone for me at 50.

I was estrogen dominant in my late 20s and early 30s. I was at 239 ng/dl at one point in my life. The Dr said, have you been taking steroids? It shook me to the core. I was at rock bottom. Anxiety attacks, fat and tired. 

I decided to go on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). I also took too much TRT. I won’t open that can of worms; it’s for another conversation.

But TRT wasn’t for me. After about 10-years on TRT, my health and libido were crap. 

At 46 and got off TRT with help from a functional Doctor. I consistently bounced around the 400s. I thought that was good, but I hadn’t met my now mentor, Dr Anthony Jay, PhD. Dr Jay did a 5-year PhD on sex hormones.

In April 2020, I started working with Dr Jay. I am now consistently in the 600s. I feel like a viral man again. I can feel the difference between average, the 400s and where I am now. I call it: Energy Of The Lion. I know that sounds ridiculous, but there it is.

So today, I feel like I did in my late teens. But with one clear advantage. 30 plus years of wisdom and lessons. I’m fired up. And testosterone, as Dr Jay stated, is a fundamental part of that. Here is what he said:

  • you just feel better
  • nothing beats that feeling of having lots of energy throughout the day 
  • testosterone is a fundamental part of that

No matter where you are in life, or how you feel about yourself, one thing is true: you’re a man that wants more out of life.

And every man has the potential to dominate his world. To be there for his family. More importantly, build a legacy he is proud of.

Here’s the rub. That requires work, commitment, and energy—but most of all, it requires courage! And as I learned from Dr Jay, consistent optimal testosterone is a fundamental part of that.
